King's Kids Playschool is a ministry of the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and currently has two committee members. We are looking to grow the committee with at least two more members. If you are interested please contact Shireen Bell at bellsh@telus.net or Alicia McClelland at aliciamc@telus.net.

Hello Everyone! My name is Shireen Bell. I have been a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church since 1997.  I am married with three teenage children ages 19, 15 and 14. My younger two children attended King’s Kids Playschool when it first started and I have been helping out with this playschool ever since! I am a registered nurse and currently working on my PhD in Nursing at the University of Alberta. I also serve our church as a worship musician and Youth Band director. I love children of all ages and continue to be involved in regular child focused mission work at local, national and international levels.  I will mostly be working on the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of playschool functioning but will also be available to meet with you upon your request.  The work of King’s Kids Playschool means a lot to me and I look forward to meeting all of you!  Thanks for coming to our playschool!

I have been attending the MCLC since 2005 and have been a member there since 2009. I have a wonderful husband, Chris, and have been living in Red Deer since 2004. I have four beautiful children, Sierra, Breanna, Corbin and Sarah and one fur baby, Boomer. I have been part of King's Kids Committee since March 2011. My daughter Breanna attended King's Kids for two years and my son Corbin is currently enrolled in this years morning program. We are looking forward to a terrific year with your children and hope that you and your child have a truly wonderful experience learning about the love of Christ.
